How to Generate AI Images in 5 MINUTES

Learn how to generate AI images in minutes: convert any image into a prompt, use Replicate and Gamma to access models, and refine results fast.

Show Notes

Five-minute, end-to-end workflow to turn any image into AI-generated art: extract a style prompt from a source image, then drive generation with Gamma across models.

Tools Used

  • Perplexity Brand Designer (source image or style reference)
  • Adobe Photoshop (Selective Brush Tool + Generative Fill)
  • Replicate (image-to-prompt prompt extraction)
  • Gamma (multi-model image generator, $20/month for unlimited access to all models)

Step-by-step Workflow

  1. Grab a style/reference image
  • Use a source image you want to imitate or extract style from (the example uses a Perplexity Brand Designer image).
  1. Create a prompt from the image
  • In Photoshop, open the image and apply targeted edits using the Selective Brush Tool and Generative Fill to shape the image.
  • The goal is to produce a version of the image that surfaces the style you want to capture (the before/after demonstrates the transformation).
  1. Get a prompt from the image
  • Upload the edited image to Replicate to generate a prompt that describes the style of the image.
  • Copy the resulting prompt. This is your style-forward instruction for the generator.
  1. Generate with Gamma
  • Paste the prompt into Gamma and run across multiple image models.
  • Gamma provides access to many models, giving you a range of stylistic outputs from the same prompt.
  1. Iterate and pick
  • Compare outputs across models, tweak the prompt if needed, and re-run to refine results.

Tips and Practical Notes

  • Start with a strong source image: clearer style cues lead to better prompts.
  • Use Photoshop Generative Fill to push the image toward the look you want, then extract a more precise prompt from that result.
  • Treat the Replicate prompt as a starting point, not a final instruction set; small prompt tweaks can yield big differences.
  • Test multiple Gamma models to find which one matches your target style best.
  • Consider subscription cost upfront: Gamma offers ongoing access to many models for a flat monthly price.

Quick Takeaways

  • The workflow decouples style extraction from image generation: image-to-prompt then prompt-to-image.
  • The combination of Photoshop edits + Replicate prompts enables more controllable, repeatable results.
  • Gamma is a convenient hub for trying several model styles from a single prompt.
